Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo for our distribution company, Primal Corporation Pty Ltd. We are a distribution company and currently distribute jewellery products to jewellery stores. We need a simple, smart, classic design. The logo will be used on our business cards, letterheads, brochures, banner ads, website etc. We'd prefer to have the colours from our website used in the logo, however if another colour HAS to be added to the design, then we're thinking gold.

Our website is at www.primalcorporation.com. There is a smoky white/black image filling in space at the top right-hand corner of our website and this will be replaced by an image or design in the future, so please disregard this smoky image. The logo will be placed above or instead of the Primal Corporation name in the top left-hand corner of the website.

We are thinking of having a shape of some sort as the logo or as part of the Primal Corporation name. We don't want diamonds or the obvious jewel, an abstract shape is preferred - perhaps an abstract diamond or something that refers to jewels? Another idea is perhaps instead of a reference to jewels, then perhaps an abstract sun (in our colours)? The sun referring to something basic but needed and quite central and initial. A lighter colour/shade of our website colour or even just white would be good for the shape as we are going to place it in our banner. We would look more towards images showing a bit more depth/shadow? Perhaps you want to use our initials within the shape? Eg PC. We have a jewellery retail website with a logo that we still love, we don't want one the same as that, but perhaps it will help you with our likes? The website is puzzlejewellery.com and the logo we had done years ago is at the top left. If you are going to place our initials in the shape, perhaps grey or gold for the letters?

The definition of primal is to be the original or the start/beginning of something.
