SUMMARY
We're launching a new food company that's all about healthy, tasty, nutritious food. We want to be fun and a little wacky (think Ben and Jerry's back in the old day, or Innocent Drinks) but not too crazy. We're based in Boston but with plans for global domination (just kidding. Well, for now :-)
LOGO REQUIREMENTS
a) Must Have: A stand-alone image (see "nice to have" below for image specifications)
b) Must Have - Our Name: Honest Foods
c) The image and our name MUST be separate (so that if we change our name, we can keep the image on capital items like stainless steel containers)
d) Optional - Our Tag Line: Good Food, Honestly
We expect our logo's colours to be our signature. If you see something of that colour or colour combination from a distance (delivery van) you associated it instantly with Honest Foods even if you cannot see the name.

We are making it easy for families to eat healthy food, and we're starting with the little ones (preschool). Our product rollout is as follows:
- Stage one: Deliver healthy lunches to preschools and help busy parents get their kids excited about eating ‘real’ food
- Stage two: Deliver healthy dinners for the whole family to preschools, so parents can pick up kids & dinner at same time
- Stage three: Delivery healthy food to offices
FUTURE WORK
This project could expand into lots of other business (biz cards, brochure, website, etc.) if we like your work.
Marché(s) Cible(s)
Target customers are people who prioritize healthy food, shop at upmarket supermarkets (i.e. Whole Foods), and have enough disposable income to spend on a premium, fresh, healthy prepared foods.
They are urban, they are chic, they have money, and they don't move out of the city until they have children.

- We need a logo with an image that can be used independently of the words.
We need an image which can be used as all black or all white - like a silhouette.
Bien d'avoir
- We're open to ideas but are leaning towards an abstract/pictorial representation of a vegetable (mushroom, tomato, carrot, broccoli) or something which suggests plants, grains, leaves or herbs.
It needs to be 'fresh' but not necessarily fruit...

Ne doit pas comporter
- Our main competitor is Smart Lunches - www.smartlunches.com. Show everyone that we're better than them!! We do not want to resemble their logo at all in type, image or colour.
We want something simple and 'clean' without it being too clinical. We'd like to appear friendly and approachable.
We'd like to stay away from GREEN because it seems predictable given that we're focused on healthy and sustainable stuff.
