Movie Poster Design for the Independent documentary, UNTIL 20
We are seeking a compelling and provocative poster design for our first independent film, Until 20. This is the story of James Ragan, a relentlessly positive young man facing the last year of his life after 7 years of living with a rare and incurable cancer, osteosarcoma. We need to take this poster with us to Sundance next week where we can share our story with potential distributors and industry executives. We have applied to other festivals this is the first of the season and we hope to be selected for others.
James Ragan is an inspiration to almost anyone he meets, he's charming, funny, human and a generous soul who does what ever he can to help the next guy or the next kid. James wants pediatric cancer to stop with him and he does all he can with his days to do that and still have fun and enjoy life. We can all learn a lot from James. Be sure to watch our trailer, like us on Facebook and give us an amazing design! Many images of James are available for download on our website. www.until20.com - we also had a Kickstarter campaign and there are images there too. We've liked MG_7107.jpg best for promotional pieces so far.
We have used an image of James for postcards that feels similar to the image of "The Girl with the Pearl" and some on our team like it's simplicity but that design can be enhanced too. As the co-director I am open, I really want to see some fresh creativity on this and so I invite you to submit your best work.
One small note, James loves orange and we do to so if you can weave that in somehow that would be awesome. If you prefer to work with high rez images email me and I will send you a link to our full rez images.
