I am a boutique consulting firm specializing in a few key areas such as: the analysis of unstructured data, financial market data consulting, quantitative analytics, big data and big data analytics, and information product/services commercialization. Semiotics was chosen as a business name particularly because of its use in understanding text (or more specifically signs and symbols and what they mean). Check out the wiki definition of semiotics for further info there. I employ a network of consultants with specific subject matter expertise in the types of projects my customers are looking for. I'll eventually need a simple website and business cards as well.
