Brief de Design de Logo
THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE PARTICIPATION!
We would like to create a new Logo for the Los Angeles Association of Professional Landmen (www.LAAPL.com). We would like to look at the options of the shorten abbreviation of LAAPL in the Logo also possibly written out. We are looking for anything modern dealing with Los Angeles and Oil and Gas, i.e. Oil rigs, pump jacks, Oil, Gas, LA Skyline, energy industry. We are still in debate of whether we were thinking about having a full color logo, but was also interested in B&W.. Both these options would be beneficial to our association as we do print in B&W. We are mainly looking for a logo, but a banner in the same style would prove useful as well. Attached is our current logo. Thank you for your participation and our committee looks forward to checking at your work.
Also another note. The font and the detail in this project is important. We would like to think that this logo will be taking us into the next generation of the Association for the Oil and Gas Industry. Thanks
ADDITIONAL IDEAS - NEW: A new picture provided is the black and white pump jack. If you look at it, it has two (2) A's in the center and the left kind of looks like an L. We are interested if we could work LAAPL into the picture. There is not as much detail as we would like on the pump jack, but if you google pump jack, you will see a lot of examples.

NEW 1/16/2015. Thanks you for all of the entries. We are very excited to present these to the Board Members next week.
I have added a couple of concept design ideas to get a few more options. We like on the concept that the letters are integrated into the Pump jack. We would like to stick around the colors of Black (also inverted for different uses), dark grey and dark blue.
Also put in a rig to possibly be incorporated as the first L in LAAPL..

I have added the concepts image of the swoosh. Please use on 5324993 and 5227981. NOTE: We don not want to use Design #5340266 and Design #5340266. Also we were wanting to look at a black and silver concept for color scheme.

Thank you for all of the entries! Any ideas on incorporating an oil rig or pump jack? Also most of this Logo is used as a letter head, so maybe a few options of it being a little more compact. Thanks!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Due to a change in date in the board members, this will be the last time that we submit an extension. A poll is being sent for a teleconference for everyone to vote in the Top 3 entries. Then we ill take a vote at the meeting to choose the new LAAPL LOGO! If you are disclosing any logos, please have them submitted by Wednesday at 9am Pacific Time. I know some members have already express interest into the Skyline of downtown Los Angeles and the Pump Jack submissions and a few with their own concept. Thanks again for all of your submissions and once again we are excited to pick the FINAL LOGO!
