Brief de Design de Logo

My launch
I'm about to launch my first online seminars series by the end of this month. If you are a creative designer who can produce a fresh, professional, dynamic logo for a young ambitious services business by this Friday and the final version by Monday 12 January 2015, read further and join my team.

My business
As small business owner I am the brand of my business. My business is about helping government professionals gather all relevant economic data, organize these data and write quality policy analysis notes for their senior managers. Often head of Departments of Finance, of Economic Affairs and Central Banks. My potential clients are:

1) public sector professionals, their managers
2) business investors investing in one of the 52 small island developing states (SIDS). There are 52 SIDS. Take a look at their flags here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_Island_Developing_States

About me
I am a senior professional living on a Caribbean island. All these 52 islands are paradises. Therefore I want to add Policy in Paradise to my brand, because I help policymakers improve the lives of the people in paradise.

My new brand
My main brand I want to launch is Runy Calmera's Economic Analysis and Policy in Paradise. I want to fully operate online, through skype, through online seminars, through email, whatsapp. So I want to be an online business just like http://pcclassesonline.com/category/davids-blog/. David Cox is the owner of this pcclasses and gives trainings through his youtube channel. Look at the header on his landing page. I would like such a fresh header logo.

My client's problems and their transformation
The problems my potential clients have is the information overload at one hand and the scarcity of information on the other hand. Also quickly becoming an expert and authority on economic analysis so they can be seen as the top advisors to government on their island. They have to make this transformation.

Professionals living on an island have to solve all problems with a very small team of people. While in the developing world the same tasks are performed by 400 people on an island a team of between 2-10 people have to do all the jobs.

Why I do this?
I do what I do because I like to relate one thing to another, seeing the big picture. Explaining things in easy step by step to the men and woman on the street without economic jargon. I do this because I want to help improve the lives of the people, especially the poor, the kids and give them a better future. For that their economists need to be trained, to understand the complexities of the world. To design good policies.

My toolset and framework
I have developed an economic framework consisting of spreadsheet models and modules that work together. You can download such a spreadsheet on my website at http://www.bedrijfsanalist.com/demo-macro-model-sint-kitts-and-nevis/. Use the second form because it contains more information. Currently I have such models for 4 of the 51 small islands. So I hope with my new branding to reach out to the other islands. I use internet technology like webinars, skype, online project management tools, google documents. I work from home.

Some more about my plans
My brand Runy Calmera's Economic Analysis and Policy in Paradise needs to be fresh, needs to show that I enjoy what I'm doing, needs to show that I'm a young (45) professional, websawy and always open for learning the latest technology to help my customers. I'm reading 3 books on personal improvement, economics right now.

I believe that through the internet, islands can get connected to the world, to trading partners, through investors. But why my brand needs to inspire people that they can achieve their business, private dreams it needs to show that I'm an authority in my field.

If you want be trained by an experience senior economist, if you want to grow, you need to join one of my free online seminars, and then follow one of my online trainings. I will never see most of my customers face to face. Because I can't be in all places all time. That's why I have packaged my knowledge and experience in information products: online webinars, online bootcamps, online trainings, step by step easy to follow tutorials, ebooks and skype meetings.

The impact
I hope that through this branding, my online business will go viral. That people will recognize my information products and services and in the future handbooks as quality products. I hope to reach more islands in 2015. I want to build a list of 200 prospects by june and reach 500 prospects who participated in my online trainings by eind of 2015. I hope that once a policy professional sees my landing page and the free information I give their first impression is: wow, where can I subscribe to his newsletter.

I hope that when they are struggling with an economic problem they think: let's go to the website of Runy Calmera because he must have a solution for this because he is an expert in Economic Analysis and Policy in... Paradise.

My requirements:
The main attached document is: Online Seminars Branding Logo and Theme.pdf. In that document I have given some sketches of a story I'm looking for. A professional man, smiling in a suit, on a beach, sunny day ready to help you with your economic analysis and policy problems.

1) Fresh logo
I need a logo. It needs to include my photo to the left, a beach with cristal clear water to the right and a sun to the right. Water/beach and sun need to be graphics and not photos
Above this logo I need the wording Runy Calmera's Economic Analysis and Policy in Paradise in another handwritten font.

In the sun I need to be able to put words like: Masterclass, Online Seminar, Technology depending on the seminar I give. For each seminar type in the future I need to change these words myself in Photoshop.

Partners and guests in my online seminars
As I will be featuring other experts during my online seminars I need to be able to add the words: for instance featuring Mr. John Smith to the logo myself. So for instance if this seminar is about Technology and Mr. John Smith is the expert on Technology on small islands I need to be able to easily change the logo in Photoshop (that is the system I use, so a requirement): put in the sun the word "Technology &" and put below in the sea: featuring: Mr. John Smith. Is it possible to work with layers in Photoshop so I can achieve this?
So then you will look at the whole logo it looks something like: Technology & Runy Calmera's Economic Analysis and Policy in Paradise, featuring: Mr. John Smith.

I have drawn several ideas explaining this concept and I hope you can work with it based on your professionalism and wow me.

The logo will go on:
the first sheet of the presentation of all my online trainings and seminars. Look at this logo in the video of David Cox in the attachement. This is the kind of feeling I want to give.

The background needs to be white, the sun yellow, the water cristal blue and my photo in it. No changing of my photo please. I have that logo now on my businesscard. If you can draw me in suit like on the photo and it blends well with the logo I can consider that.

2. Logo on Banner
On my website at www.calmera.nl I will put the logo with a white background as a header on all pages. I will be alligned left.

3. Logo on my powerpoint sheets
I want to make a powerpoint sheet theme with white background where I:

3.1 Have the logo on the first page like the one of David Cox's. See link in the attachments.

3.2 Have a smaller version of the same logo to put on each page of the powerpoint sheets I need the logo on the bottom of all the sheets. It should be seen from left to right. But I need to have space on the sheet to put my information. These logo's need to be as small as possible in size as otherwise my presentations will be too heavy.

3.3 On the second sheet of each presentation I need to have a graphic for the topics and the number of the topics in the presentation. It needs to include for instance 5 topics vertically and a #1, #2, #3, #4, #5. #6, #7 In the attachment an example is shown. These are boxes but you can experiment with circles or other shapes. I don't like 3 d. It needs to be functional. Surprice me with your talent.

3.4 On some sheets I will be using either check marks before each item. These need to be the same colors as the #1-#7 above. Again I would like to receive these graphics in Photoshop so I can edit it myself.

3.5 I need a box in the same colour of the sun with white letters where I can add the name of the extra expert in a seminar. e.g. featuring: Mr John Smith, on the first page of the Powerpoint Presentation.

3.6 I need a picture of the sun. I will use that on a single Powerpoint sheet where I want to ask a question to the audience. For instance: Who do you think is the amazing designer who produced this amazing brand theme for me?

3.7 I need the domain name www.calmera.nl in the logo because otherwise people can't find me.

3.8 Finally I will be using a lot of photos in my presentations and videos on my website. I want a small colour square where the photos are in. The colors of the boxes/square are the same as the boxes around #1-#7 above. How I will use it is probably that I insert a photo on a sheet. I put your box behind the photo and let the colour of the box appear. If you have another idea to make the photos look better, you are welcome. These boxes again don't have to make the presentations heavier.

3.9 I need 5 buttons with subscribe now, just in the colors of the boxes #1-#7 mentioned above. The buttons should have round corners. They will be put on a white background.

So these are my requirements. When you take a look at my drawings in Noteshelf I hope you get inspired like I am. I tried to be as specific as possible, not to interfere with your creativity, but to help you understand what I would like to have.

I will decide quickly. I expect you to:
1. Give me a basic theme. I would like to see that you understood the concept.
2. You work with me to change your basic design. You modify some parts of the design based on my input.
3. This would take two to three modifications. You need to be available for a period of 1 week. I want to launch these series by eind of January 2015.
4. I will react on all the logos. I will quickly select a team of 2-3 logo designers based on their first basic design and continue giving more input to them. If you are not selected in this group, I will thank you for your service and maybe work with you in the future.
