Brief de Design de Logo
Hello,
I would like to find a designer that could create a logo for my company. Although I am starting with very little funds, this company will eventually grow into a full Hedge Fund, and its logo should be a model of elegance. Clean, precise, elegant.
What should appear on the logo would be lower case or upper case or mix, and with either the following:
Coq & Co.
Investments
Or:
Coq & Co.
My current logo is the "stathat.jpg", which is meant to be a symbol of the Fund being protected (hat) by in depth statistical analysis (stat). However, your final logo does not have to refer to that image if your creative process leads you somewhere else.
I do not like the FEEL of that "stathat" image. In the ".zip" file, you will find different examples I picked up online. I'm not looking for any particular font or style. I merely try to present the kind of FEEL my logo should have. A feeling of elegance, assertiveness, aesthetic sensitivity and stylish excellence.
In the ".zip" file you will also find two ".pdf" documents that exemplify the kinds of presentations I'm looking for, as well as the kinds of Hedge Funds I want my Fund to look like. These are good descriptions of my business too, if you're interested in knowing more about it.
If I am happy with your work, I will most likely ask you to also customize that logo to appear on Business cards and as a background image for the Fund presentation documents, but not right away.
I hope to have picked your interest, and that this is the beginning of a collaboration.

Note 1: Any project that merely utilizes simple fonts that I have on my computer will be dismissed without comment. I'm asking for a brand identity logo and some creative, personal touch from the designer.
Note 2: Please no arrow or easily recognizable trading graph. I am looking for something subtle and sophisticated.

It was an incredible experience to work with all of you, and I appreciate your effort. I have received 172 designs, a lot of them were quite in line with what I was looking after, though there were some weird exceptions...
I've tried to keep up with feedbacks, and you can trust me that I've been honest. If I told you that your work was great, it was. My apologies if I stopped giving feedbacks at the end of last week, but I got busy and started to focus on the couple of designers that were closest to my aesthetic sensitivity.
I chose to select the most balanced, harmonious and assertive of all the designs, even though quite a few designers could have won this context.
I hope everyone got something out of this experience nevertheless, and I wish you all the best of luck for this year 2015. Sincerely.
