Hello, this looks like a fantastic design job, but I was just curious as to what Léopold & Rodier stands for, does it have any significance you would like portrayed in the logo aesthetics?

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out, yes I hope it is a fun project :) The names refer to our French connection. Leopold is a family name and Rodier is the first street I lived on when I moved to Paris. We are a French and Australian couple. :) I guess I would like the French influence incorporated into the logo but not in a boring (seen it everywhere) daggy way - does that make sense? And the emblem requested I guess represents the family ties. Almost like a family crest. Hope that helps and that Im making sense! Big thanks for taking part.

Yes thank you! That certainly does help, and I'm so pleased it has some association with the brand you're creating (which may be a crazy thing to say...but you would be surprised), it will give your overall brand identity a lot more depth in the long run, even if it is incorporated in a subtle manner, such as the font selection and crest (as you indicated).
