Brief de Design de PowerPoint

Template in Powerpoint 2010 format

The template is for Lumina Management Consultants, a firm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For more information on Lumina, see www.lumina.ca

The PowerPoint presentation will be used for yearly events called KOBY (Knowing Our Backyard) and KYBY (Knowing Your Backyard). At these one-day conferences, Lumina shares expertise/knowledge in current oil and gas technology solutions. Topics covered include: Who are the vendors? What are their products? What are their relative strengths and weaknesses? and What trends do we see?

We intend to use the template for several years. As a result, we would like the title to be dynamic, that is, changed each year to reflect the passing of time as new events are held (for example, KYBY 2013, KYBY 2014).

Lumina conducts almost all of its business in downtown Calgary for white collar clients. Our clients are primarily upstream Oil and Gas companies. Event attendees are typically business facing IT resources or business people with IT solutions responsibilities. In otherwords, we are communicating to a corporate audience.

The presentations for KYBY and KOBY are compiled by multiple teams and are then merged together. As a result, previous presentations have looked unprofessional with inconsistent graphics, logos, fonts, font sizes, colours, etc. Team members using the new PowerPoint template will require guidance (within the template) on how to use it properly to provide a common look.

Desired master slides for new PowerPoint template:
- Overall Session - Title Slide
- Functional Area – Title slide
- Content slides, including title with content, comparison, picture with caption
- Predictions slide
- Thank you slide

Desired outcome:

- a fresh, professional looking design
- a consistent look and feel across the slide-deck
- a user-friendly template/master slides

Additional concepts that COULD be incorporated:
- upstream onshore oil and gas graphics
- technology or software

NOTE: GIF and JPG versions of the LMC logo are attached. The logo colours are Blue – Pantone 288, and Yellow – Pantone 129
