Brief de Design de Logo
I have just opened a tax and accounting firm in a small town, close to the Twin Cities in MN. I am not your traditional (aka boring) CPA. However, I am in a conservative industry and a conservative area. I am using the "Light Brown Swirls Signature Business Card" from VistaPrint for my business cards and the same sorts of browns for my sign. (Although without the swirls.) Although I love this design on a business card it is just too much to try to use on anything larger. I need to get my letterhead, presentation folders, etc moving and really need something that can be my "brand". I would like something that is fairly traditional with a hint of fun. Something with a touch of feminine without screaming "a woman owns this". In my dream world dragons get worked in there somehow but I assume that is just asking for too much. :-> The designs should stick with the browns of the card. As a CPA I work with confidential information and need to evoke a spirit of confidence and confidentiality.

Thank you for your submission to my logo design contest. It has been really fun to see the wide variety of designs which you have submitted to me. In particular, I really appreciated those who provided examples of what the design would look like on letterhead and business cards and a web site, etc. Of the 43 designs submitted, less than 1/2 used the browns that I requested and only a handful were able to work in the dragon I was hoping (without much hope) for.
I will be messaging a few of you directly that are in my top contenders list with specific revisions or questions. I intend to make my decision within the next couple of days as I really need to get everything moving for the various printings, etc.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: After seeing your input and design options, I am extending this slightly for a chance to provide another example.
1) Please stick with Browns and white - anywhere in the brown spectrum is fine (although Chocolate is probably #1) . Not blue or green or pink, etc.
2) Use CH or CHTA for the logo. (I have to give up on the dragon - just doesn't fit in my story.) Upper case or lower case as you prefer.
3) If you are interconnecting the CH, please make it possible to tell them apart and have the H have both lines.
4) Tax and Accounting - the "and" needs to be spelled out.
5) Under or behind the Tax and Accounting needs to be Certified Professional Accountant - this is generally in a smaller font as it is not the business name.
6) Do not use all lower case in the business name.

I like a lot of the new designs. Two quick things:
1) It should be "Certified Public Accountant" not "Certified Professional Accountant" (I wrote that wrong in the last update - and that isn't embarrassing or anything!)
2) In trying to do this just now I just saw the area where I could have laid things out much better for all of you - the wants, don't wants, etc. I am so sorry I didn't catch that two weeks ago. That must be frustrating for you all.
