Brief de Web Design

- The design must be based around the attached HPID (home page information design) called CODE HPID. I've attached Word and PDF versions - these are the same. The table boxes are just for approximate placement of information – you DON'T have to make it look exactly like this. All fonts used in the HPID are only examples - you can use any Google font you wish.

- Information only is in orange text. Copy to go on the design in black text. Some instructions are in the HPID. Please be creative!

- The design needs to be modern. Colours are to be black and white with orange ...like the logo colours.

- I've provided the images for the galleries - they are labelled and will match the name in the HPID.

- Examples of some websites that have great design... don't copy them please but they are similar in look to what we are after....

Width of content will be 1100 pixels when implemented as a web page. Header height (without nav bar) 150-160 pixels.

If your design is chosen the winning PSD file will have to be provided as follows…
1. Canvas size of 2000px x 2000px - 72ppi in Adobe Photoshop (CS5 compatible)
2. Width of content section is 1100px wide - centered in the canvas
3. Any button rollovers/hovers in the PSD as hidden layers.
4. All fonts used must be Google fonts (except for the fonts in the header at the top of the page).
5. You will need to supply the chosen home page plus one example page (example page as a style guide for how all other pages will look). Example page is only the header and navigational bar at the top, an empty sector in the middle with a column (180 px wide) which can be left or right aligned which means the main sector is 920 pixels wide, and then the footer at the bottom of the page
