Brief de Web Design

Looking for design of Homepage, Category Page & Product Page for single product sales focused website. ShoppaBox manufacture and distribute a brand new product to the market called MyBuddy-Box which is a super strong, re-useable, folding & stacking plastic box which can be seen on our current website www.mybuddy-box.com MyBuddy-Box was originally developed as an alternative to supermarket carrier bags and was pitched as a box for life against the other low end re-useable products. The original version was made from recycled plastic and pitched very much as environmental product. We are now taking a different direction and have re-designed the boxes in 5 bright and fashionable designs and although we still want the primary focus to be supermarket shopping we want to position the product as a design led, must have shopping and household accessory rather than a boring, cheap looking black plastic box. The new designs will still have the environmental benefits of being able to be re-used thousands of times and being 100% recyclable and save on the imminent 5p tax on carrier bags in the UK however the new designs will not be made from recycled material. Although the main use for MyBuddy-Box is supermarket shopping it has a multitude of other uses especially where you need temporary storage - laundry, back of the car, moving house/students, gardening, days out, home office filing (will take A4 file), recycling and much more - MyBuddy-Box is made out of super strong Polypropylene and can be easily washed and sanitised after use and can be folded and unfolded thousands of times and so will last for many years. MyBuddy-Box is a product that needs to be seen in action to be understood so the web design must quickly and easily communicate what MyBuddy-Box is and how it works - this can be done with video, images and copy. Our current website does not work for many reasons:- it is too busy, has too much information, tries too hard and ultimately isn't working. Any of the images off our current website can be supplied for use. Once the concept of the website is agreed I can get these photoshopped with the new designs. Pictures of new designs for reference will be attached to this brief. Ultimately we want the website to convert visitors to sales and therefore designers with a proven track record in this field are especially welcome to enter. We also have a Dropbox folder with over 100 product and situation images in - please send email address and we will send an invite to the folder. Due to Christmas period this competition will be run over 15 days however we may choose to extend the deadline to account for the non working days.
