Brief de Design de Logo

We are a coalition of advocates and implementers who, in collaboration with young people and adult allies, are working to ensure that young people in low and middle income countries have the information, tools, commodities, and quality services necessary to make positive and informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health. We’re looking for a logo designed to help us inspire motivation in our cause and communicate our mission - sexual and reproductive rights an health, and/or youth focus.

· The logo will be used online, in print, and on relevant YHRC materials.

· Flexibility is a key requirement, including the need to re-size easily and to look good in black and white as well as color. The final version of the logo will need to be suitable for high quality printing.

· Entrants should take care to ensure that their entries are not in any way similar to existing logos or other copyrighted images. A logo that is duplicative of an existing logo, no matter how well crafted, cannot be considered

· The logo should not be photographic (see below for information on graphic formats).

· The logo must contain the letters “YHRC” or “Youth Health and Rights Coalition” or "Youth Health & Rights Coalition"

· Due to the requirements for high quality printing and re-sizing, entries must be submitted in JPEG if sent by email. We advise against the use of halftones and gradients. Please use CMYK colors.

· The limit on attachment sizes for our email is 5 Mb.

· Clean Design: The simpler the logo, the more recognizable it will be. Work the design down to its essentials and leave out all unnecessary elements.

· Text:

o Please use a sans serif font. Examples include Arial, Calibri, etc.

o One font is preferable. Please do not use more than two.

· Color:

o Consider that the logo must also look good in black and white, grayscale, and two colors.

o The color should match the overall tone and mission of the YHRC.
