You stated that your newsletter will be called "Matchbook". Could you please state the company name and website if there is one? This will help in relating the logo for your newsletter towards your overall brand.

Volteodesign-due to competition amongst our peers we are keeping a very tight lid on this project until launch.  I can''t divulge much more about who we are then I already have.  It isn''t crucial that the logo be a perfect fit with the rest of our brand, we just need something simple-smart and clean.  Thanks for your interest, I apologize if this isn''t much help.
