Brief de Web Design

I have a training and consulting business and have had this business for 10 years but I have never had a website. I have a logo that I like and a "look and feel" that I can live with but I am not married to. I want to be considered for bigger jobs so it is time to have a website. I am looking for a website design that is professional and sleek, interesting but not too funky, and easy to navigate. I want the design to demonstrate my brand personality. I have provided my bio and some examples of the courses I teach. I would love to approve a front page of the website and then work with someone on a longer term basis to get the site where I want it to be and to a point to where I can edit it. I am open to answering any questions I have tried to provide input but may have missed some details that a designer would need. So please ask.
