Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a building/construction company called 'Laing Builders'
specialising in mainly domestic extensions, renovations, maintenance etc.

We would prefer a plain text style logo - no pictures or representations of houses, roof lines that are usually associated with building/construction cos.

In regard to colouring we would like to use charcoal, light grey and orange accents - with examples of logos liked in links below.
