Brief de Design de Poster
We need a poster for musical comedy-duo Sparrow-Folk for their upcoming show called SuBIRDia.
Logline: Sparrow-Folk are bringing sexy back to suburban Australia in a musical-comedy smash-hit: SuBIRDia. Celebrating what most wouldn’t dare to reveal, they ‘Thermomix’ together a delicious set of hysterical songs divulging the daring and delightful underbelly of suburban life.
The show will tour Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and the UK.
The image attached is the focus of the poster. The space at the top allows for text.
Text should be:
Sparrow-Folk
(In flag-style triangle bunting: words need to be very clear and biggest word on poster, positioned at the top of the poster)
SuBIRDia
(smaller than the word Sparrow-Folk, in some other form of text-type; keeping with the suburbia theme)
Underneath the text, we need two sets of 5 stars (symbols) with the following quotes:
“Not to be missed” ★★★★★ (The Advertiser)
“Gut-bustingly hilarious” ★★★★★ (Adelaide Theatre Guide)
Space also needs to be provided for logos and dates/venues to be added later by us. We need an editable document to allow details and logos to be changed for various shows. Make it compatible with ADOBE.

- Our priority is for the poster to be eye-catching and stand-out. It will be in competition with many other posters at festivals so it needs to be striking. Our band name needs to stand-out, it's our selling point.
