Dear Project Owner.

I'm sorry that you feel this information is irrelevant to the designer involved. I'm not here to debate the issue.
I just wanted to know whether payment will be guaranteed so I can determine whether or not I wish to accept your invite. I have stated on my profile that I am not interested in projects that do not guarantee payments.

The information that is given to us shows that you have prepaid for the project but have not guaranteed payment. What this means to the designer is that you have the option to change your mind and withdraw the project even after submissions have been made.

I am very selective in the projects I choose and do not waste my time with iffy ones. Past experience has shown on projects I had been watching, 8 out of 10 projects had always been withdrawn without payment.

Additionally I would like to state that I am very confident in my ability as you will see I have won numerous projects. My portfolio of work is available for viewing on my profile. My ability and skill level is there for the customer to view and determine whether they like my style and that I am the right fit for the project. Not the other way around. As you have invited me for the project I am assuming you liked my style of work.

Thank you again for the invite but I think your response is clear that you do not have any intention of guaranteeing payment. If you change your mind please feel free to let me know and I would be more than happy to submit.

You are missing my point completely. The very point of this site is that the customer does not get stung paying for a design they do not like, which could easily happen were they to enlist a designer for a straight up job. The selling point here is that you can get many submissions, without specifically enlisting anyone, and pay for the one you like best- assuming there is one you like. Even if I were to guarantee payment, there is no guarantee you would win the job. Indeed, if you were to win this job, it would pretty much equate to 50% of what you have earned on here so far in total.

You asked me whether the payment was guaranteed or not, and then in your last email revealed that you knew all along that it wasn't. So will you either pony up, grow a set, and submit a design that will win you 280 sterling, or kindly refrain from wasting my time with questions you already know the answer to.
