Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo for a Melbourne based construction company Pearce Building Services (PBS). PBS is a small building company, on the cusp of large growth, that specialises in high-end, inner city architectural renovations, extensions and new builds. We would like the logo to be:
Simple
Contemporary
Leading edge
Architectural (not Builder)
Blue print (not hammer and nails)
Sharp clean lines (but some softness perhaps).
We are open to colours but would prefer no more than two or three different colours. Current logo is red.
We would prefer the logo to say PBS but can incorporate Pearce Building Services as well in small print if need be.
The final design should reflect the sophisticated and modern nature of the business and would be used on websites, job site signage and clothing.
