Brief de Design de Logo

My website address is www.disneyparksearchive.com for reference. The site is an online archive for digitized documents, maps etc. The current logo was designed by me (amateur) and is far to busy and in need of a fresh design.
The "Earchive" part of the title can refer to "E-archive" as in electronic archive, as well as play on "Ear" like Mickey Mouse and his ears. Potential concepts for the design could include secure, archive type imagery (please note that a vault in the shape of Mickey's head has been done as a book cover so probably is not usable). Also given that the subject of the archive is dedicated to fun, incorporating that fun into the design would be preferred.
Colors for the base logo are open for your inspiration, but would also prefer to have the file in .ai format so that I can alter the colors as needed to coordinate with background images on the web site.
Text in the logo is optional. May use the text specified below, or the initials "DPE"

• Some form of "security" aspect due to the nature of being an archive, though a degree of openness is ideal since I'm keeping the documents safe, but offering them to share with everyone else. Much like a museum.
