Brief de Design de Logo

We are updating our logo and image as we are more establishing our building company in Sydney specializing in residential high end construction, residential development and also commercial construction. We wish to not come to far away for our existing logo though to give it a more sophisticated and modern look. Red if the text colour with navy blue backing which we wish to stick to though may be up for some minor changes in colour.
We are also interested in looking at something that could be an emblem type though happy to stick to non emblem with the SFN being over the CONSTRUCTIONS as per the attached uploaded image of current logo which is very basic.
This logo with go on all our stationery, work shirts, site signage, motor vehicles, website, facebook, instagram etc. I want it to become a label, a statement to be recognised once seen all around Sydney and NSW. Please view our WEBSITE
