Brief de Design de Carte de Visite

I began my journey attending the Ithaca College School of Music to become a music educator before changing my degree and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Music with an Outside Field in Psychology in 2008. From there, I attended Florida State University where I completed my Bachelor's Equivalency degree in Music Therapy. I became a Board Certified - Music Therapist almost 3 years ago and have since specialized in geriatrics, bereavement and end of life care. I anticipate completing my Master's Degree in Music Therapy in May, 2015, from Colorado State University.

In August of 2014 I completed advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) allowing me to also address speech and language, sensorimotor and cognitive deficits which develop as a result of neurologic injury and disease processes. Parkinson's Disease, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury and Dementia are amongst some of the neurologic conditions which may be treated with NMT.

My Philosophy: I strive to provide professional, genuine and compassionate care to all individuals, families and facilities that I serve. I use evidence-based and standardized music-based therapeutic techniques to achieve results which are documented, while complying with privacy regulations. I work with my patients and families to assess the primary goals to be addressed and to establish the most effective treatment plan to facilitate the best results.
