The client owns an imaging source company. They just purchased rights to sell a new ScanMD solution and want to visually show how you can go from medical file folders and records on one side to the new paperless computer version on the other side. They are targeting medical and legal customers so both groups have audiences with lots of files and folders. The new scanmd solution takes the electronic records, scans and makes them searchable...what is unique that is also creates tabs that look like the paper version.

Imaging Source, Inc., a Jacksonville based records management company, is pleased to announce the purchase of ScanVenture, LLC., a Jacksonville based imaging solution company’s, operating assets and service contracts. Imaging Source also acquired licensing to use ScanVenture’s, T.R.A.P.R. © service bureau imaging software which allows conversion of paper records to electronic records.

The T.R.A.P.R. © software allows companies to convert paper charts or files, such as a medical tabbed chart or legal file with tabs, to an electronic file that will maintain the tabs in order with a customer friendly graphical user interface. The new files may be viewed using a license from either ScanMD or ScanJD, both of which are available from Imaging Source. All converted files may be viewed with the free version of Adobe Reader.
