We need to use stockphotos , right ? but they have watermarks,so when project finish we need to edit again.
Do you need all of them in a combination or separately ? where they are used ? what will be the size and dpi ?

thanks

Usually, find images on google, and when you submit the file, with the file you add the image location link, there are lot of pictures on google that can be used for commercial use, or in this case, contests like this, so, just add the link where you found the image, i think im not very wrong, if im wrong, anyway, DC team will tell us...

Cheers

hi, just one more question...

Do you want us to merge the images together? One file that shows "Before and After" effect... ?

Thanks,

Hi Designers, thanks for your interest in the project and excellent questions.

The goal of this contest is to source a collection of photographs of typically overcrowded famous landmarks or places that normally swell with people to empty out of all trace of human life, almost as if a major weather event hit and everyone stayed indoors that day. Eg:

Sacre Coeur Basilica, Paris, France is typically crammed with tourists and locals enjoying the views on a sunny day;
Tourists versus no tourists or cars in Times Sqaure in New York;
No tourists milling round in the Forbidden City in Beijing;
No beach goers or a person in sight on Bondi Beach in Australia or in Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil;
Not a car or a person in sight on the Champs-Élysées in Paris or in Shinjuku nightclub district in Tokyo, Japan.

Size: Please make the image 1000px wide by 500 px high
DPI: minimum 72 DPI
Stock photos: Yes you can use stock photos (just provide the source url)
Placement: Images will be published online
Design: You can upload two linked images for before and after (label them in description) or you can upload the images side by side (right and left or one above the other image) to show the contreast.

Tips:
Find an aerial image or one that is taken up high with a high volume of people present. It''s really important the landmark ''before'' photo is teeming with crowds. Some of you are using photos with 10 or less people usually too tiny to see and the contrast between the before and after shots is too subtle. Play up the contrast.

You could find close up angles of crowds to highlight your chopping skills

The more of a contrast ie the most crowded picture you can source featuring the most people the better for the before and after images.

Hope this helps
