Brief de Design Vectoriel

We want to create a friendly, eye catching, and recognizable cartoon character who has the "body" of a smartphone (NOT specifically identifiable as an iPhone) and definitely NOT a blackberry. This character will be used as a visual element in short broadcast quality videos that invite viewers to call or text for special offers. Thought is that we would "dress" the character seasonally or topically (the character is wearing a mortar board hat denoting graduation from college; a stethoscope or doctor's hat, denoting medical care or treatment; santa or elf's hat and/or coat for seasonal appeal; flowered "Bermuda shorts, sunglasses, and a straw hat evoking a beach vacation or cruise, etc .

SELECTION PROCESS

We will select a designer who shows us the smart phone guy or gal drawing (with arms, legs,eyes, nose etc) we like the most and who can show us an "dress" the character as described. We may commission revised versions of this character in various guises as may be required by the season or the product - much as Google plays with and "dresses" their logo for holidays, the change of seasons, etc. Examples of what we've seen as stock art are attached as files.

NEEDS
Product needs to be in the form of vectors that can be used as overlays in short HD video that we may assemble. Winner will also most likely be asked to change the design based on different campaigns. For example:"dress" the character seasonally or topically (the character is wearing a mortar board hat denoting graduation from college; a stethoscope or doctor's hat, denoting medical care or treatment; santa or elf's hat and/or coat for seasonal appeal; flowered "Bermuda shorts, sunglasses, and a straw hat evoking a beach vacation or cruise, etc .
