Project: IFHIMA Logo/Identity

Marketing Manager: Pat Ebbers

Project Summary:
IFHRO (International Federation of Health Records Organizations) changed the organization name to IFHIMA (International Federation of Health Information Management Assocations) in November, 2010. The logo and identity need updated, to align with and support this change. Design must have global influence and appeal and must be flexible for use on website, and in electronic and print documents (including presentation materials).


Target Audience
- Occupation: Health records/information management associations, individuals working in the field of health records/information management, those wishing to support the work of IFHIMA, companies providing healthcare services or interested in supporting the work of IFHIMA.
- Age: Membership is generally middle age.
- Gender & Ethnicity: Membership is comprised of mainly females, and is global.


Specifications
• Approach should be conservative and business oriented
• Approach should convey a diverse and global “feel”, potentially including a globe if more than one global region can be conveyed
• Colors and font are open to recommendations, but should support the conservative approach (not flamboyant)
• See www.ifhima.org for current and prior logos (open documents for old logos)
