Brief de Design Icône

iBookshelf is a extremely popular (top 100 in Books category for several year running) personal book catalog app. You can see the current app/icon by searching iBookshelf in the app store. The icon is a bit drab and I want to include a more snappy icon in the next major release cycle. Submissions should include high resolution (at least 1024x1024) layered PSD files. Examples of similar icons that I like the concept of are:

The concept must cleanly convey the existing app capability (personal database of owned books) in sizes from 1024x1024 to 57x57. If desired, designer may choose to use different images (similar concepts but more/less graphical clutter in different sizes) for larger vs. smaller icon images.

• Icon should consider iPhone app store "rounding" in design. Icon should be sized to handle 1024x1024, 512x512, 144x144, 114x114, 72x72, and 57x57 cleanly. Must be original and not simply "copy" concepts from given examples.

  Include logo in some form (attached) as background element
  Unique aspects and "flair" given priority
