I am a pediatric physical therapist who is launching developmental education courses directed at parents/caregivers/healthcare professionals. The name of the company is "bloom."
This should be a fairly simple project (easy money!) as I have a few designs in mind that just need to be converted into a logo. I will be wanting to use this for a logo adaptable for biz cards, web, email and letterhead.
I would like the design to be clean, simple, modern and indicate that this is a company directed towards young babies/children (and not a flower shop - ha!).
My color scheme of choice will either be a shade of kelly green (or have an organic feel to it) or in modern rainbow colors (i.e. shades of primary colors).
I envision the design to the left of an over-sized written word "bloom." I like fat font such as century gothic and the word "bloom" in lower case writing. I would like to explore the possibility of putting a much smaller sub-title under the word "bloom" to say "Developmental Courses for Parents, Caregivers and Healthcare Professionals"
I have 3 main ideas that I would like to be explored although am open to other ideas. I have attached a Power Point that has examples of the below delineated themes:
1 - a simplified child/infant footprint that is spliced together to look like a flower (i.e. each petal is a footprint of a different rainbow color).
2- a simple flower that has symbols of an infant (as you would see symbolized on a changing table for example), a baby crawling and a young child walking and/or running. There is a logo on vistaprint that is almost exactly this although it has a person with a cane, which does not fit my business theme (as pasted onto powerpoint). This prepared logo also has hands above the people, which I am unsure whether I like or not.
3- a play on the "oo" in "bloom" with a smiley face.
HAVE FUN!!
Thank you for your thoughts and positive energy into this project!

Mises à jour
Hello everyone!
I REALLY appreciate the wonderful designs that have been created by so many talented graphic designers in such a short amount of time. I wanted to give you an update on my thoughts.
My project is to promote natural development from infancy into the early years and provide parents/caregivers/health professionals with ideas to make that happen. As part of my courses I will be promoting the idea that less can be more and natural is often best. The courses will be given live as well as by webinar in the future.
I have given many of you the same feedback about color scheme. In my briefing I had to select from the color wheel that was displayed on Design Crowd website. The colors aren't actually exactly to my liking. I would really like to have a more natural feel to the design using Earth tones if it is possible with your software. For example, the green would be closer to a forest green (but not quite that dark) and an orange would be more terra-cotta, blue closer to ocean blue, and yellow with a hue of orange to it. A dark brown might be used instead of black. I don't tend to gravitate towards true primary colors.
I think that I have decided to use only the word "bloom" in my logo as it is looking somewhat cluttered otherwise. Thoughts?
Now that I have seen my original ideas put together professionally, I have definitely been able to streamline some of my favorites and eliminated ones that weren't quite to my taste for one reason or another. I have tried to give feedback to each designer on at least one of his/her designs. If your designs have not been eliminated yet, well done as I have had LOTS of excellent logos come in.
Thank you to those of you who have requested further feedback. I will be looking to have a shortlist by Friday, but will likely extend my deadline by a few days tomorrow so that I can poll my friends, parents and colleagues this weekend with my favorites. The chosen favorites might be asked to make an adaptation or two following the feedback that I receive. If you are still interested in submitting more ideas to this project, I would try something creative. Surprise me!!!
I have had excellent feedback for my company so I am hoping that it will be a brand that you see for years to come with possibly your logo!
Thanks so much for your creative efforts. I am really humbled that you are doing such great work for this project.
All the best,
Allison

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hello everyone,
I will be extending my deadline by 3 days in order to get feedback this weekend from parents/colleagues/advertisers/friends/family on my current shortlist of designs. Of course, I will still be open to your other ideas during this time.
I am really amazed by what you guys have created.
Thanks so much,
Allison
