Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my business, which is called Elemental Body Works. I am a massage therapist and personal trainer (although the bulk of my work is focused on massage therapy) and my work is focused on helping people achieve more balance, freedom of movement, and ease in their bodies. The name of my business is derived from several concepts. Elemental relates to the elements of homeostasis (healthful balance of the body's systems), the idea of elemental being to focus on basic concepts fundamental to good health, and lastly my personal connection to the healing elements of nature (most especially fire as I am heavily a fire sign and I correlate fire to chi, or the body's life energy). Body Works is representative of both "bodywork," being massage therapy, exercise, yoga therapy, etc., as well as a play on the idea of the body working properly.

My philosophies and my work are very heavily rooted in the sciences of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as the science of manual therapies. However, personally, I also have a very nature- and energetic-oriented philosophy about the role of emotional and mental state in physical health.

My design aesthetic is funky/industrial/minimalist. I like the juxtaposition of industrial style against natural materials and textures. I would like my logo to have style, but it still needs to be legible and easily accessible.

My clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds and range in age from 15-75. What they have in common is a desire to feel better in their bodies.
