Do you have your logo in vector (AI or EPS) format? Or something high resolution with a transparent background?

You mention a book size of 8x10. What is the thickness of the book, or more precisely what are the dimensions of the spine?

Couple more thoughts, neither of the photos you provided are high enough resolution, plus they have some pretty bad scanning artifacts (vertical lines). Do you have these in higher res?

The 120 page spine is one half inch (1/2 inch).

The logo design was sent as a print file; preview file; thumbnail file; and a source file. We can send any of those if it would help?
