Brief de Design de Logo
Objective:
To design a logo that reflects the personality, experience, vision and dreams of Michael GE Young. The intention is to create a global brand that will be engaged in the broader scope of businesses.
Logo: Young
Key Attributes to be reflected in the design:
Entrepreneurship, Achievement, Excellence, Freedom, Opportunity and Collaboration. Modern 21 Century digital corporation of the future.
Vision:
To build a 21 century global conglomerate with a sky is the limit culture and attitude. The conglomerate will focus on four key Divisions:
1. International Trade
2. International Investment
3. Applied Sciences
4. Social Entrepreneurship
Background:
Michael was born in 1964 to Chinese immigrant parents in Vancouver, Canada where he grew up. Early in life Michael excelled in school and a variety of sports, choosing to focus on tennis during his teens, where he reached the national championships 4 times winning twice to become national champion. Michael was invited to attend Princeton University for the tennis team, after the first year he transferred to Oxford where he studied international law and afterward attained a Masters at the London School of Economics. In recent years he became a Harvard University graduate completing the applied science program on a part time basis over a 5 year period, with a particular focus in technology.
After working in London UK, Michael returned to Vancouver where he first worked as a lawyer but at the same time decided to start his own international export business. The seed of the business was rooted in family history where several generations before had built trading relationships between China and Canada.
But for Michael the business grew out of his passion for globalism, his belief in trade as the best way of connecting with the world and benefiting other people economically as well as himself.
Another key element in starting his own business was the desire not to be a corporate soldier but to have the freedom to choose his own path, his own way of working and combine work and interests in a creative way that would suit his personality and dreams.
The dream and the business is set on a path to scale and needs a suitable logo design to reflect a world class idea.
