Brief de Design de Logo
We are an in-ground drilling company specializing in drilling holes in solid rock for utility poles. Our target market is utility companies, specifically their line workers.
We are looking for a logo that has "K & R" and may or may not have "Drilling" in it as well.
An initial idea that we had was simply having K&R in a colored oval, K&R being in Silver/Gray and the oval red or orange.
Our goal is to have a simple and clean logo that can be applied to mania media (clothes, hats, bumper stickers...).
It could also be a combination of more than one design depending on the use. For example there could be a main logo with K&R in it and then subtitles that could be added depending on the work (utility drilling, foundation drilling, specialty contractors...).
We are not completely attached to the oval, that is just an initial idea that we had.

Updates
I really appreciate the designs that each of you have submitted thus far. In viewing them, we are starting to refine the ideas about what we would like to see as well as a few new concepts.
We are absolutely looking for a design that is both bold and clean, which there are quite a few that fit this description.
Because we are a specialty drilling company, one idea that we would like to explore has to do with different drilling implements. An auger is one type of drill (the corkscrew looking drill) as is a solid more pneumatic style. Crossing those over each other, something like a skull and crossbones design, without getting too into the skull look is something else we would like to see.
We are also playing with the idea of using a different symbol for "and". Spelling out "and", using the letter n, or other symbols can all be considered.
