Brief de Design Wordpress

Ciao everyone! I am looking for a brand new design for my Wordpress food blog, FloCiBO (flocibo.com). The blog is about my deep love with food and with Bologna. I write particularly for the Brazilian crowd.
I talk about gastronomic curiosities of the town, delicious places and specialties that one can only find here. There are also many posts about my trips around Italy.
I would like the new design to be more sophisticated (or should I say professional?), but friendly at the same time.
If possible, I would like to keep its background very clean (if there are patters related to food, like the way it is now, even better), especially because I post many big colourful photos...
Also, since it is a personal blog, I would love if visitors could see a picture of mine and with a short description right at the homepage.
