Hi Alissa,
First off, I would like to say thank you for spending time designing and submitting your work.
I will be honest and let you know what I think, but I hope I won''t offend you or other designers by what i say.
- When I first see your design, it reminds me of a shopping center logo in Melbourne, hence it might not be that suitable. (Please note, there''s nothing wrong with you design, its quite professional in fact)
Just in case you will have another go, I am probably looking for something more colourful and babyish design.
Again, I hope I didn''t offend you and thanks for your hard work.
