Brief de Design de Logo

Hi there, I require a logo for our company that delivers safety support for construction projects. Safety advice, safety management system development and safety training. The actual registered name of the business is "PSS Safety" but PSS stands for Proactive Safety Solutions, which we wish to highlight in the logo.
We dont really have any art work as such, we were thinking of either a green tick within the business name, yellow and black tiger tape or hazard tape incorporated somehow or a hard hat (safety helmet) built into the logo?
Thanks.
