Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo designed for a new facility in Corpus Christi, Texas called Breakwater Miniature Golf.

If you're not familiar with the term, a breakwater is a structure, such as a jetty, that is built to protect a harbor or coast, so we want it to have a coastal/nautical feel, but very clean and "hip". Maybe incorporating a wave somehow. The logo also needs to have some sort of golf element in it as well, such as a flag stick or golf ball. We definitely want it to appeal to people from 7 to 70 years old. Families would be coming with their grandparents and children, high school kids on first dates, college buddies, people having fun before and after baseball games and concerts (we plan on having a license to sell beer and wine, maybe a "hip" microbrew or two). And this wouldn't be your cheap putt-putt course with faded carpets and orange metal bumpers in the shape of an L. It will be a high-class course with water features, well-kept landscaping, and a top-notch mini golf experience.

Here are a few links to the closest attractions near our proposed location. You can kind of get the feel of the area from just looking at the websites - kind of an antiquated district featuring an old concrete plant-turned music venue, a very classy baseball stadium with an "old-timey" feel, and a very popular bar/restaurant with an icehouse that showcases regional and national bands at least 3 nights a week.
