Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a tutoring company called "Ad Astra Tutoring Company." We are based in West Los Angeles and operating in Southern California. Ad Astra comes from the Latin phrase "Ad Astra per Aspera", through hardship to the stars. Ad Astra translated in English means To the Stars. We are a high-end tutoring company for parents and students who want the best in-home tutoring service for a reasonable price. Our business is geared toward parents and students who place a high importance on education. While they usually come from an affluent background, our reasonable pricing also allows others to enjoy our excellent services. Services we offer are academic tutoring (K-College), test prep, and college admissions counseling.

We would like a design that is contemporary, sophisticated, and simple. We want our logo to connote an ivy league university feeling. The final design should communicate excellence, personability, and reliability. Color schemes that we like so far are blue and white with highlights of yellow/gold, and maroon, gray, white, and gold. All colors are not necessary, but we like those two color schemes.
