Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for our preschool. Our school is a nature-based preschool, with a emphasis on providing a play-based experience. We would prefer not to use the typical "blue+red+yellow" color scheme typically used with young children. Instead, maybe tones that associate more with nature. Of course, we want a Scissortail Flycatcher (a bird) used in the logo.

• The image I uploaded was our attempt at a logo. This is a logo from a sweets shoppe we found online. We added the windmill. The colors are a bit serious and lackluster. We needed to add "day school" but couldn't get the font to look right. We definitely aren't set on using the uploaded file (we don't have any idea about the status of that logo), but it is something we were drawn to.
