Brief de Design Wordpress
Hey,
My name is Filipe Junqueira and I'm starting a PhD in Physics next year. I want to a bit more than just research on my own. I want to bring some public involvement to it.
"OK Physics" is website/wordpress/blog. It is a way to bring physics to the general public without losing the math or the physics essence - This is a place to share fun and interesting findings that PhD students, Professors, High school students and basically everyone else that loves and wants to know a bit more about nature. The idea is to put real science to debate in a open non-judgmental way in prol of knowledge and discovery. "Everybody" is welcome to post relevant things such as experiments made at home as well as their latest discovery in their super high tech £100M lab.
The first step of the project is to develop a BLOG (Wordpress) - the domain is already register "okphysics.org and okphysics.com" that could host that initial debate and posts.

I would enjoy touches of watercolour design here and there.
I also like pastel colours. But remember, I am a scientist and not at all designer. I'll trust the artists to create and show me what they are up to.
UPDATE: Just so you guys know. I want to do a Website in form of a Blog. I want to easily post and upload videos and articles related to Physics.
I'm more familiar with Wordpress but if you say that any other platform does the job better and I can still maintain the domain okphysics.org lets do it!

Update number 2: I will respond every designer asap. I will however do that between 9:00am and 14:00 pm Brasilia/Brazil Time.
So please don't get upset or take it personal if you don't get a feedback right away, specially if it is 02:00 a.m my time, ok ?! : - )

- The way you going to put "OK Physics" is completely up to you. I usually like it simple but. Show me what you got and I'll give you feedback if I like it or not! Just remember to keep it clean and user friendly.

- Just try beautiful and functional designs. I usually don't like super old style fonts like Times New Roman and very elaborate things that are hard to read.
