Brief de Design de Poster
Our short film 'Alien Communications' will be premiering at film festivals across the country and we need a movie poster for it. We have provided screen shots from the film but you are not required to use them- they are for reference only. It should include these elements:
Title: Alien Communications
Names of stars: Evangeline Young and Luke Baxter
Something's Awry Productions
A Film By Kurtis and Kris Theorin
Tag Line- A guy, a girl and an alien. None of them can understand each other
The movie is a slightly sci-fi coming of age romantic comedy about a girl who finds an alien drone in the woods and uses it as an excuse to 'hang out' with a geeky boy she has a crush on. Part of the movie is told from the drones perspective as it tries to figure out and analyze what alien emotion the two teens are demonstrating. So although the movie has an alien drone as a part of it, it is mostly about the two teens and the feelings they have for each other. The picture that we like the most is the one entitled 'lukeandevangelinewithdroidlookingon' I like how you get the feeling that the teens like each other but are awkward about it and how the droid is watching them trying to figure out what is going on!

Bien d'avoir
- We would like to see some artsy, classy but quirky ideas that don't necessarily use the pictures we included as photographs but more as a reference for graphics or sketches. An example would be to take the photo of the two leads in the foreground closeup with the droid looking on and turning that into a more 2D graphic or drawing.
