Brief de Design de Logo
I am starting my own online gun store. The inspiration for the store is to solve a personal pain of not being able to view a store's USED inventory online. As a result, missed treasures, wasted time, but more importantly lost revenue for the gun stores I frequent!
I am a Marine Corps veteran and have seen my fair share of military veterans move into the eCommerce space. They typically have a website/logo/company name that are very military and "tactical" in nature. Aside from having the word "gun" in my company name, I want to stay away from that image and want to appeal to all men and women, even those who don't currently own a firearm.
Company name is "The Gun Stash". The Gun Stash will be a place to view beautiful, detailed pictures of firearms that are available for purchase.
For reference, I would like our corporate culture to embody:
- Simplicity
- Transparency
- Fun
The Monkey: For marketing purposes, I think a cartoon monkey would be great branding. Goal is for the general public to have a positive reaction to the logo and know right off the bat that it's a gun store. Also, I do not want it to appear that we are targeting kids so nothing too cute but not too serious either.
Monkey does NOT have to be detailed. A silhouette may work just fine depending on the overall design of the logo.
I would like the FINAL design to include the tagline "The People's Gun Store" but that is not required for the initial design as the logo should look complete without the tag line.
Lastly, I am a bit of a minimalist. I also like the color green. While this info should not affect your design, it is probably good to be aware of my biases.

Thank you for all the designs submitted so far! Based on what I have seen, I am confident that we will find a winning design and I have therefore committed the prize for this project.
What I like so far:
- Placement of the monkey to the LEFT of the company name.
- Alternating color/style of the company name like the designs submitted by jasquigrafias and ideaz2050
- Designers with most liked monkey: 9i9i and ideaz2050
Also, would prefer the monkey not hold a gun and tails are a plus.

FINAL UPDATE: Thank you for all the submissions. Because of all the creative designs, you have helped me to realize my final vision of the logo. The design that will be selected will contain the following: 1. A whole monkey (not just the head) 2. Flat/Clipart style (Think Ferrari, Redbull, etc) 3. Should have a face (i.e. at least eyes and mouth)
