Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for our new wedding and lifestyle photography brand. We're two photographers covering the DC market and South Florida, geared to a more artistic approach to capturing life's beautiful moments. One male in mid 40s and one female early 30s. With that being said we bring to the table both the old traditional images plus the new "artistic" approach and we market to a wide age group.
Weddings, families, portraits, engagement, maternity, vacation, and couples.

Our product is geared more towards women seeking a photographer. We don't necessarily have a vision for the final outcome but here is what may help in getting the creative juices flowing.

(To us it's all about traveling life's path and how there may be many different streams they all lead to the same body of water)

We're thinking earth tones, blues/greens, natural beauty. Something soft and elegant, clean lines, simple. Something that will mature along with us is very important.

We do not want to have any camera image within the logo, the name will speak for itself. If there is to be an image we were thinking along the lines of trees/branches/something showing movement....

How I measure a good logo is by envisioning it on the front of the studio door. Is it attractive, catches your eye, clever and creative, does it draw you in, evoke an emotion and speak for the quality that we deliver?
