Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a new business called Polaris Travel Clinic and Pharmacy. Our primary focus is doing consultations for people before travelling internationally and providing vaccinations and prescriptions for them. While the business is considered a pharmacy, it has more the look and feel of a doctor's office. It does not look like a typical pharmacy at all as we are not in the business of filling non-travel related prescriptions. We would prefer that the "and Pharmacy" part is less noticeable on the logo as we do not want this aspect emphasized. We are leaning towards shades of blue and silver for colors but we are not committed to these colors and are open to other possibilities. The design should communicate a professional and trustworthy feel.

We have received some designs and wanted to provide some additional direction.  Regarding the name, don't emphasize "Polaris Health" only.  Either emphasize "Polaris" or "Polaris Travel Clinic."


"and Pharmacy" should not be emphasized and should be smaller than the other words.  Also, we prefer "and" instead of "&"

Don't be afraid to try to work the logo into the letters of the name "Polaris."  For example, having the logo worked into the "P" or a symbol like a compass worked into the "O" or a star dotting the "I" are examples.  This is not a requirement, but I notice that very few submissions so far have done this.  We are open to the logo being incorporated into the name or separate. 

As far as themes to consider, we are a travel clinic so some symbols relating to travel would be acceptable but are not a requirement.  Polaris is a reference to the star Polaris so star references are also of interest.  The name Polaris Travel Clinic was chosen because we want to guide travelers by giving them advice, vaccinations and prescriptions so they have a healthy journey.  This is connected to Polaris because it is the North Star, which has been used to guide travelers to get them to their location.  Medical symbols can also be part of it as well.  

I hope this helps give a bit more direction.
