Brief de Design Emballage

We are a boutique winery planning to introduce a new brand of wine targeting skiers, snowboarders and people who love the mountains.  We are considering three brand names: Apres Ski Wine Company, Elevation Vineyards or Foggy Google Winery. Many consumers choose wine based on the label as it is their only point of reference at the point of sale. The label should promote quality without being intimidating or formal.

Updates

The label size is expected to be between 4" and 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. The bottle will be dark green and the neck of the bottle is lkkely to be covered in a dusting of fake white snow. Even though we are going to test the names Foggy Goggle, Apres Ski and Elevation, the dominant brand on the label will be the resort (i.e. Vail) and the dominant image will be the trail map.

It is "Fogy Goggle", not Foggy "Google".

Exigences
Doit avoir
  • Each case of wine we produce will be distributed in a targeted way. For example: wine destined for Vail, CO will feature our brand and prominently feature Vail on the label while our wine destined for Lake Tahoe will feature our brand and Lake Tahoe on the label. Each label must therefore have three core elements: Our brand, the mountain "brand" and the type of wine. Please use "Chardonnay" for all sample labels

Bien d'avoir
  • We have agreed to partner with the best known trail map artist in the U.S. to feature his artwork on the label. His work can be found at the following site:

Ne doit pas comporter
  • We cannot use the official logo of any resort on the label. While we are permitted to use the word "Vail" we may not use the official logo of Vail Mountain Resort.
