I have done a draft (as attached) but also want to add the following "profile story" of the type of customers we are seeking. We are open to colours and layout so go for it!


Gest Profile: “Come and Stay” at Ballina Lakeside Holiday Park

Peter and Bev Johnson from Victoria are soaking up the sun at Ballina Lakeside taking advantage of our special “Come and Stay” rate.

Each year, Peter and Bev leave their family home, kids and grandkids behind and spend some time away together in their caravan in the warmer climate of Ballina.

Peter says “We used to stay at many different parks for two or three days at a time before moving on, but that was just too much work. So we decided to look at the map and pick somewhere we could stay for a month or more. The map showed that Lakeside is surrounded by beautiful waterways, so we decided to see what was on offer for a longer stay.”

Now this year is their fourth stay with us and they have already booked for next year – same site, same dates! Peter says “this site is my favourite and so the park makes it available for us each year.”

Park Manager Gerald Searle advises that this is something they do for regular Christmas and Easter campers as well. “It makes it easy for people to plan their stay and they enjoy the familiarity of securing the same site”.

We offer a special invitation rate for people just like Peter and Bev. It’s called the “Come and Stay” rate and is usually offered to new guests when rebooking for the following year during the winter months. It is based on stays of a month or more and is now also available in the pet friendly section.

Manager Gerald says “the “Come and Stay” pricing works out to about $25.00 a night, which is a very good discount of about $11.00 a night! There are special conditions like a minimum stay periods and it is only for tourists just like Peter and Bev but it certainly makes it affordable to escape the winter weather each year!”
