Brief de Design de Logo
ATTENTION designers: we've included a few extra notes and design prompts below to give you an idea of what sort of logos have intrigued us so far.
Be advised that we are not looking for a cliché logo. So, basic fonts with typical eco-leaves floating above may not be considered. Please be creative, innovative and different. The winning designer may have opportunities for lucrative follow-up projects.
We want to develop an image that conveys the hunted concept but also conveys peace/love (in a non-hippie kind of way). Think of the thrill of the hunt, for a good, sustainable life..in some ways it is a contradiction; onehunted = love = green
Some ideas:
1) a stylized tree (think: if a high-mid-end fashion company had a tree as a logo, instead of a polo player [Ralph Lauren], a pig with a ribbon [Brooks Brothers], or a moose [Abercrombie])
2) a strong, animal logo demonstrating softness, love and affection - but also conveying strength in the hunt (maybe the animal is holding an earth, a flower, or something) - this can't be hokey - still needs to be simple, slick and sexy
3) an arrow that is transforming into a flower or a bird or a butterfly, again conveying the hunt but in a non-violent way - still needs to be stylish and sexy
We are looking for a powerful logo design that will serve as the brand foundation for an exciting start-up company. The company is called onehunted (note - one word, caps optional but not necessarily encouraged), a new men's/women's environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible fashion brand, with strong appeal to young to middle aged trendsetters who think green.
In fact, our target demographic is:
*men and women age 25-44
*high disposable income
*sophisticated tastemakers with stylish with discerning taste
*multi-ethnic and global-minded
We want to build a brand identity that is sexy, but bold. Subtle, but iconic. Stylish and sophisticated, but environmentally conscious and natural. Cosmopolitan, but with a global appeal. We are striving for a simple, beautiful, meaningful and recognizable brand with iconic potential.
Your logo submissions should look good heading a website, but also on merchandise. Imagine folks wearing our logo (designed by YOU) on t-shirts, hoodies, backpacks and other eco-friendly products worldwide. The logo can consist of multiple colors, but it must be able to be converted to a single color version that looks great as well.
(hint: onehunted can also be pronounced "one hunnit" - a loose reference to how much of the world we plan to touch, 100%)
Good luck, designers...think big.
Updates
This "one hunted" design project is now "GUARANTEED".

Hello Designers-
Added Sunday, December 02, 2012
Hello fabulous designers. We have re-opened our project. Although we received some good designs, we did not receive a logo/brand design that totally knocked our socks off and that had the iconic, sexy, stylish global appeal we NEED. To that end, we have re-opened our project believing that, if we provide more concepts/ideas, we can achieve our goal. We need an image that conveys the excitement, coolness and fun-ness that comes from "hunting" for and finding great products and great deals! We need this image to not only convey the "hunting" concept, but also peace, love and feeling and doing good.
Here are a few concepts to play with:
1) a stylized tree (think: if a high-end/luxury fashion company had a tree as a logo, instead of a polo player [Ralph Lauren] or a pig with a ribbon [Brooks Brothers] or a moose [Abercrombie])
2) a strong, hunting animal holding an earth
3) an arrow that is transforming into a flower (or an image that is both an arrow and a flower)

Doit avoir
- Imagine if Dwell magazine, Triumph motorcycles, IDEO design and Ralph Lauren Purple Label all came together to create a luxury lifestyle brand with an eye toward sustainability, social responsibility and healthy living.
Bien d'avoir
- We attached some logo designs from other companies that we like.
We love horizontal or balanced designs. Please feel free to find ways to subtly infuse the number 1, use arrows/cursors, leaves, or anything that you feel would make this logo look amazing on your best friend's t shirt (we're definitely to having our minds blown by creativity)
Ne doit pas comporter
- violent elements, large, convoluted illustrations, too many gradient colors, vertical design
