Brief de Design de Logo

I recently bought an online dance music radio station designed for the LGBT community. It's called GayInternetRadioLive or casually known as GIRL radio. Our current logo is outdated, girly and well -UGLY. I really want to butch it up and bring the Station Identity up to current time. So here is what I am looking for:

I want it to be clean, simple, progressive and masculine

1) The logo should be an illustration rather than real images, etc.
2) A mirror ball or headphones should should be the main point of reference in the logo.
3)The term "GayInternetRadioLive" should also be included in the logo. Understand that I will need the ability to separate the illustration from the text as both will not always be appropriate for communications.
4) Any combination of Black, Gray, Dark Electric Purple, Dark Electric Pink and Dark Blue are acceptable colors.
5) Image should be on a transparent background

An idea I had was a 2D mirror ball with headphones shadowed into them.
