Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for the word "Impact" which is the what we're naming our high school youth ministry. The idea being that we want the kids to make an impact on the world around them through how they live their lives.

I want it to be a simple look. Something that will look great on a website but also as a simple black logo on a t-shirt or pens/hats, etc.

I googled Impact Logos and the one that stood out to me was actually from this site (which is what brought me here...I'll attach it for you). I liked the simplicity of the idea and how the logo was so tied into the name that if we wanted we could use just the logo on a shirt and it would still communicate "Impact".

The two ideas we had for Impact were:
-Something like a meteorite striking down. The idea being your life can make a huge Impact...you have so much potential, etc.
-Something like ripples in water caused by a pebble. The idea being significance through a small action...that even small actions have the potential to cause change.

As far as color I am open to whatever.
