Brief de Design de Revue

We have a fairly unique requirement in that we do not have content for you, but are looking for a magazine template that will work for a sporting event. For this template we have chosen the Weetbix Kids Tryathlon. See more information here http://try.weetbix.com.au/. Another fairly unique component to this magazine is that the articles need to be short - maximum 200 - 250 words per page.

Here are a few requirements and more information:
• Magazine template needs to be 32 pages.
• The theme of the magazine should be a sporting event, specifically the Weetbix kids Tryathlon. See more information here http://try.weetbix.com.au/
• The page layout is flexible and really up to you but here are some suggestions for content: Information about the event, a few articles about the main race, some human interest stories, interviews with some of the children, articles about charity fundraising etc. Obviously we don’t expect you to write anything just have the layout able to accommodate these types of stories. Anything else that you can come up with to showcase the event in the magazine design is great, we do not have a fixed requirement when it comes to the page layout so it is really up to you. The main thing we are looking for is a great professional magazine design.
• The word count per page should be maximum 200-300 words
• The template needs to flow and look like a unified magazine.
• Please just use sample images – these will be deleted and replaced with our own images at the end.
• Just use Latin or sample placeholder text.
• We don’t have a specific page layout in this brief and will leave it up to the designer to make the magazine flow. We don’t want every page to be repetitive, the design needs to be interesting to read but still look cohesive.
• There will be no advertising in the magazine.
• Overall we are looking for an experienced magazine designer who has the creativity to come up with something that looks slick within these requirements.
• We have multiple magazine projects that we are working on so this is one of many similar jobs that we plan on posting.

Specific Requirements:
Page Width = 210mm
Page Height = 297mm
Trim measurement = we usually use 5mm
Images can bleed off page

Organisers of sporting events, and event sponsors. These are businesses who will want their sporting event to be featured in the magazine therefore the look needs to be professional and upmarket.
