Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company based in Houston called "Sugar Press: Gourmet Liege Waffles".

We will be making Belgium Liege Waffles. These are not your typical "Belgian Waffles" that many Americans think of. The Liege waffle is made with Belgian Pearl Sugar that melts on the inside of the waffle, and caramelizes on the outside when cooked. This makes for an incredibly sweet, yet crunchy, dessert that can be enjoyed any time. This is unlike any "Belgian Waffle" you've had before! These waffles are sweet (similar to a glazed donut), and can be eaten plain or with toppings such as strawberries & cream, bananas, Nutella or speculoos spread etc.

We are looking for a fun design that would be appealing to both families, and the late night bar crowd looking for a late night snack before they head home.

The owners of the business are 20-somethings, that frequent trendy coffee shops, craft beer bars etc. We want to target that market, but also not detract from families. We want a logo/restaurant that is modern/trendy but that also doesn't alienate families.

  While I do like this logo, I fear having such a similar photo as another area bakery could cause issues. Some great designs have been submitted around based on this, but feel free to think outside the box as well.
